Orphans & Widows
Their widows were neglected in the daily distribution. Acts 6:1
To visit orphans and widows in their trouble. James 1:27
Jesus said, I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you. John 14:18. He knew that without him, we had no hope, so he sent the Holy Spirit to guide us in all our ways. We were blessed to visit the Calvary Chapel Orphanage in Bacolod, Philippines. We came to pay a visit to love on them, encourage and give them hope in Jesus Christ.
Our Lord is for the forsaken. Acts 6:1, talks about a complaint towards the disciples neglecting widows in their distribution. Immediately, they took seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom to appoint them to serve and not forsake the widows.
